"Absolutely brilliant on the cello," (The Folk Diary) Anne Davison is an artist with range and depth. Performing in a variety of musical styles, she has graced the stage with Bruce Cockburn, Holly Cole, and Kanye West, among others. Anne and partner James Hill received Traditional Album of the Year at the 2009 CFMAs for their debut duo album of ukulele-cello music, True Love Don't Weep. Anne also has an interest in creating work which melds cello and dance, and leads an impromptu music-dance troupe, the Grasshoppa Exchange, that improvises in public spaces around Nova Scotia.
