Anne enjoys playing cello with several wonderful musicians, and has performed with Bruce Cockburn, Kanye West, Holly Cole, and Ian Tamblyn among many others.

One of Anne's most frequent musical partners is 'ukulele player James Hill. This unique ukulele-meets-cello duo, performs internationally and was featured on CBC's Canada Live! broadcast. The duo released its debut album True Love Don't Weep on the Borealis label in March 2009 and won Traditional Album of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards in 2010. Anne is also interested in social activism through art. Her participation in the Grasshoppa Dance Exchange in Ottawa was so fulfilling that she has created a "cloud" of Hoppas in Nova Scotia. Watch for unannounced music and dance improv works in your neighbourhood!

 

 

Anne has taken yoga teacher training in India and teaches workshops that incorporate yoga, sound and attention. Watch her calendar for yoga-related events.
